Extruding Excellence
Saying Goodbye to our fledgling HFL, Antoine Archaimbault, earlier this month, we’re delighted to welcome Thermocable’s second HFL, Shannon Lin, to the team!
Originally from Michigan, Shannon has an impressive portfolio of academic achievements under her belt, including a Bachelors of Science in Engineering (Electrical), Bachelors of Science in Economics (Innovation), and a Masters of Engineering (Robotics) from the University of Penyslvania. Graduating with honours in 2022, it’s easy to see why Shannon was selected to join the HFL programme!
After her first placement with then Halma’s central Innovation & Digital team, Shannon then moved on to Cardios in Brazil, where she was responsible for business strategy. Taking on commercial expansion at Sofis in the Netherlands for her penultimate role, Shannon has now brought her expertise to the Thermocable team where she will complete her 2 year HFL journey.
Joining us in the capacity of Extrusion Production Leader, Shannon will be completing a deep dive into our manufacturing processes, identifying areas where we can streamline efficiencies, maximise capacity and instigate smarter ways of working – and we can’t wait for her to get stuck in!
As an aficionado in classical piano, Shannon enjoys music, podcasting, and chatting ‘life with cool people doing awesome things’, which is essentially her life motto.
Speaking about the next few months with us, Shannon said; “I’m super excited to be joining Thermocable at such a pivotal time for business growth and development. I’ve heard really exciting things about the team and how innovative and scalable the products are. I’m looking forward to this unique experience!”
